Kylee Painter, RMT

Kylee grew up in the Okanagan and is currently two courses shy of her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from UBCO. When Kylee was 14 her mother suffered a severe spinal injury which resulted in two surgeries. After this, massage was one of the only things to help with the pain, so Kylee learned early on how effective and therapeutic massage can be. Nothing can compare to the feeling of helping another person on their healing journey. After careful consideration, Kylee applied for the massage therapy program at WCCMT New Westminster campus in spring 2021. Kylee graduated from WCCMT in December 2022 and started practicing in May 2023.
Kylee has had experience working with both prenatal and postnatal women, children, athletes, and seniors. Her focus has primarily been on injury recovery (sprains, strains, frozen shoulder, disc herniation, sciatica etc.), ICBC related injuries, pain management during pregnancy, and maintenance of healthy muscles in child/teen athletes. Techniques often used include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, PNF stretching, joint mobilizations, and many others.Kylee is excited to continue building her practice and moving forward with an exciting career helping patients reach their healing goals and attain their optimal physical health and happiness.
